A new book jacket design for William Golding's Lord of the flies. The design focuses around the symbolism of the conch shell.

The conch is used to symbolise a civilized society throughout the book. 

I created this abstract shape of the conch where it is not quite whole but it all leads to a point symbolizing the boys journey as they all come together to find the beast.
